Getting caught up...

Angela's Baby Shower
Angela's expecting her 4th baby this April. It's finally a girl and I'm so excited for her & Mark. Mark's family threw a lovely shower and I was happy to be a part of it.

New Friends
I took the kids today to visit Anita, an old friend from high school who I haven't seen much through the years. Our kids got along great and can't wait to play again.
Natalie was teaching Andrea some bad table climbing skills. But they're so cute!
Fritz and Toby raced remote-controlled cars around the house.

A weekend away...
Well, Tim and I had a weekend away while Grandma Rummelt watched the kids, but have very few pictures to prove it. We went to Auburn Hills where they have Great Lakes Crossing Mall. We've been there a few times and really enjoy it. We used some of Tim's Holiday Inn points and stayed in a fabulous hotel for FREE! We went out for drinks and dinner at Chili's and got some nice deals at the mall.

Happy Birthday Daddy!
Today is Tim's birthday. I made him a special 2-layer cake from scratch. Toby told me exactly how to decorate it. The icing was supposed to be red because "red is daddy's favorite color", but it's more like pink.
Here's daddy's new ACDC sweatshirt. He also got a nice scale. Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Gerald came over to babysit while mom and dad went out for the birthday dinner (in a snowstorm).
