Visiting Grandpa Joe and Grandma Karen

We spent this past weekend visiting my dad & Karen at their home in New Berlin, IL (near Springfield). We had a nice relaxing weekend and took the kids to the zoo in St. Louis on Monday. Here are the pictures from our trip.

 

John Ball Zoo

My mom and I took the kids to John Ball Zoo a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't been in a few years, since Toby was just a few months old. Here are the pictures from our trip.

Festival 2006

~Day 1~
06/03/2006 - We headed down to Festival on Saturday afternoon, only be caught in the middle of several thunderstorms (with hail). At one point, we thought we might be able to rough it out, but the Festival organizers finally closed down the party at 7:00 when the sky turned black another thunderstorm started to roll in.

~Day 2~
06/04/2006 - A better day by 100%! Sunday afternoon was hot and sunny. Toby did some painting and dancing and tried lots of different food. Natalie found a nice, cool spot in her shaded stroller and napped on and off all afternoon.
